Beeping Bush hosted a one day "Live Archive Film, Green screen Filmmaking Workshop" for a dozen participants. A greenscreen filmmaking workshop, where archive moving images (specifically related to the location of Margate) were super-imposed live over a simple narrative, devised by the workshop participants on the day. The actors were placed in front of a lighted green screen, and, combined with archive footage was seen in real time on a flat screen television. The morning was spent looking at the specific local archive film footage, so that a simple story was developed using this backdrop as the generator of the story. A selection of costume items were available for acting out the period character roles, to produce a series of thirty second clips, with each set of filmmaker groups.back to past events back to home |
